Small Group Tutoring provides structured supplemental support to help students gain a better understanding of the course material. These sessions are typically led by MLC staff or graduate teaching assistants and will be adapted based on the group’s learning needs.
How to Request a Small Group
There is an application process to determine availability of a session that fits your schedule. To increase your chance of getting into a group, please be sure to include ALL possible times that you are available to meet. Once your small group request has been processed, you will receive an email letting you know whether or not there is a group available for you to join. Requests may take up to one week to be processed.
NOTE: Students are expected to attend on a regular basis and may be removed from the group for repeated absences.
